Mike's Home On the Web
Who Am I? My name is Mike Friedrich and I live in Northern California. I've lived in California since 1973. I'm learning what a wonderful means of communication that the internet can be. My hopes are to use this web site to keep my family and friends in touch with what is going on in my life and in the life of my wife and kids. I've worked in the computer business for 22 years now. Obviously I've seen lots of changes during my career and the changes only seem to be accelerating these days. I'll be commenting on those technologies which directly affect me either at work or at home. I was born in Chicago in 1949. I lived in a great neighborhood on the South Side. I'll be checking in on the Windy City now and then to see what is going on there. Sports have always played a big part in my life and I will certainly use this web site to promote those athletes and teams who I believe deserve my recognition.
Since I am learning an awful lot about investing I'll be sharing some of what I learn here with you. So if you have an interest in finding some stock tips, drop by regularly and see which company has caught my eye. There is so much good information available on-line for the individual investor, it boggles the mind. I'll highlight those sites that I find are worth visiting regularly to help you keep up to date on where the market is headed. Stock Market Tips
Music Is In Me Music is what I use to help keep me calm, happy, introspective, relaxed, etc. I love music and the internet is quickly becoming a major provider of music for those who are paying attention. There is a major change happening in the way music will be sold as well as the way radio stations do business. No longer is a radio station limited to listeners within the range of their radio transmitters. A small station in rural Iowa can broadcast around the world using the new streaming audio technologies. Come back often as I highlight those web sites and radio stations that are making the most of the new technologies.
